Throughout our website and social media you will often see references of “The Enterprise Dashboard.” It sounds pretty fancy but what purpose does it actually serve and how does it work?
The Enterprise Dashboard is designed to empower you and your team to be able to remotely manage your entire portfolio by giving you access to everything from entire communities down to individual units.
Enterprise Dashboard Users:
Adding and deleting users could not be any easier. It is a simple 5 step process to adding employees, contractors, and new residents to the platform. When adding new residents you will want to add them through the individual unit’s page so they have access to just their home, not anyone else's. Deleting users from a system is even easier with simply 4 clicks.
When creating a new user you can also grant them certain permissions so they only have access to certain devices and only during certain times. For example, while your maintenance team needs access 24/7 to all units, your leasing agents may only need access to your vacant units from 8am-5pm.
All of this can be managed for you by your dedicated account manager so that it does not increase your team's workload.
Enterprise Dashboard Automations:
Why deploy Smart Apartments across your communities if you’re not going to use the automations? The most important automation to have setup in every unit could save you tens of thousands of dollars and that is the water management automation. With our water management solution you can have it set up so that if one of your water sensors detects a leak in a unit it will automatically close the water valve using our Smart Water Valve.
Other automations may be something like if the motion detector senses activity in the room it will turn on lights. Or if a door or window sensor is left open for 10 minutes it will turn on the thermostat.
Again, all of this can be managed for you by your dedicated account manager so that it does not increase your team's workload.
Enterprise Dashboard Notifications:
One of the main goals for many owners and operators deploying Smart Apartments is to be aware of what is happening in and around their investments. With the Enterprise Dashboard you can set up notifications for specific events. For example you could have it setup so that if a water valve is closed your maintenance team, property manager, and yourself are all notified by email, text, and/or an alert from the app.
Other notifications include but are not limited to: if the property loses power, if someone tampers with a device, a device reports a low battery.
Again, all of this can be managed for you by your dedicated account manager so that it does not increase your team's workload.
Enterprise Dashboard Activity Reports:
Activity Reports give you an overview of what is happening at your apartments and log a history of every event for the past 60 days. The activity reports will log when a sensor was activated, when remote commands are sent, or when someone accesses an apartment using their unique PIN code.
Activity Reports are set up from the start but your dedicated account manager can help pull those reports in the case that you would need them.
